Book Launch

We are delighted to be launching the School's fantastic book, To 450 & Beyond, on Thursday 20th November. The event will take place in the Baughan Theatre and foyer from 4.50pm. There will be an opportunity to meet one of the authors, catch up with members of the SVS community and browse and purchase the book (or collect pre-ordered books).

We have timed this event to coincide with the end of the school day, so parents and their wider families can visit, either alone or with their children (who must be accompanied throughout). We would recommend that Old Suttonians and members of the wider SVS community visit from 5.15 onwards, when the Quad will be quieter for parking. The presentation part of proceedings will start at 5.45pm, so all we ask is that you arrive before then, please.

Refreshments, drinks and canapés will be served throughout and there will be an opportunity to collect pre-ordered copies of the book or purchase copies on the night, in time for Christmas. Whilst this event is complimentary, if you are planning on attending please could you register your interest, which will help us with catering.

To 450 & Beyond is a hardback coffee-table style book, marking 450 years of Sutton Valence School, from the founding values of William Lambe to the ethos we embrace today. Copies can be ordered here.
