The OS Committee warmly invites you to join the team for an enjoyable gathering along the Bermondsey Beer Mile, continuing the School's 450th celebration. The event will take place on Saturday 23rd May, with the aim of visiting most of the breweries situated along the Beer Mile, sampling a variety of artisan craft beer “flights” (one-third of a pint) throughout the day.
This event is organised by Richard Kalmar (1975 M), and is open to all Old Suttonians and their partners. You are encouraged to come along, bring a friend, and enjoy a truly unique experience. We will gather at 12.30pm at The Southwark Brewing Company, located at 46 Druid Street, London, SE1 2EZ.
The Bermondsey Beer Mile now features approximately 20 beer-serving spots along its mile-and-a-half stretch, running from Southwark Brewing to the former Fourpure taproom, which are considered the traditional start and end points of the route.
Everyone is welcome, and we hope this will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends, meet new fellow Old Suttonians, reminisce, and have a good time.
