We are delighted to announce that the Changeling Theatre will be coming to Sutton Valence School this summer to perform Much Ado About Nothing on the evening of Friday 21st August 2026.
Shakespeare’s famous romcom will get a gothic makeover by the company, drawing on themes of love, dishonesty and deception. Glitz, glamour and scandal will hit Messina where Much Ado About Nothing is set. Think decadent costume balls and devious misdemeanours in a play where love’s a battlefield and the gossip never stops.
Beatrice and Benedick swear they can’t stand each other. Hero and Claudio seem picture-perfect until a little drama crashes their party. Lurking behind the cocktails and confetti is one deliciously devious Don John stirring up trouble.
It’s sharp, it’s funny, it’s the ultimate party romcom full of twists, tunes and turns. There ain’t no party like a Shakespeare party, and this is sure to be the perfect summer play full of laughter, love, and mayhem.
Tickets are priced at £25.00 for adults and £15.00 for children (under 18). To book your tickets, please go to https://svschangelingtheatre.eventbrite.co.uk. Tickets will go on sale at 9.00am on Monday 23rd March 2026.
For ticketing queries, please email the School's Development Office - development@svs.org.uk.
