Please note the following terms apply to bookings:
Tickets cost £100.00 per guest. All guests (including Upper Sixth leavers) require a ticket.
All ticket holders should be over 18 on the date of the Ball. The only exemption is for those in the Upper Sixth who are yet to turn 18;
In the eventuality that we are forced to cancel the Ball, we will provide full refunds for all tickets purchased;
In the event that you are unable to attend the Ball, we would ask that you inform us by Saturday 5th June 2027. We will then issue a full refund. Due to commitments to third party suppliers, we are unable to offer refunds after that date.
We have secured a selection of bedrooms for the evening. The rate will include overnight accomoodation, breakfast and entry to the Castle and grounds the following day. If you are interested in booking a room, please email the Development Office. Please note that the following listed prices woiuld be in addiiton to the cost of tickets to the Ball.
Deluxe Double Room (twins available) - £200 per night
Classic Double Room (one twin room available) - £190 per night
Cosy Double Room - £180 per night
The event is black tie. Please refer to the photos of past events (within the news stories below) as a guide for what to wear.
How many guests per table?
In terms of the parent tables, ideally these will be tables of ten. However, due to the layout of the venue, there are eight tables of six. We wil do our best to accommodate everyone in their chosen groups.
What are the timings for the evening?
The Ball is due to start with welcome drinks at 7.00pm. Guests will then be seated shortly before 8.00pm, when dinner will be served. Dancing will follow, with carriages at 1.00am.
Which entrance should we use?
Please arrive via the Castle's Broomfield Gate entrance. Once through the barrier, please park in the guest car park. The Fairfax Barn is just a short 1-2 minute walk away. Please note that it is not possible to leave cars on site overnight, unless you are a resident. If you are arriving or being collected by taxi, we would recommend that you pre-book in advance. Leeds Castle has recommended either using Express Taxis (01622 222222) or Streamline Taxis (01622 750000).
Can I cancel my booking?
We will issue a full refund up until Saturday 5th June 2027.
We have not received any tickets, what should we bring on the evening?
We are not using tickets this year, rather, the security staff will be working from a guest list on the night.
Can we pre-order wine for our table?
Yes. Leeds Castle's caterer will provide an online portal to allow you to pre-order drinks to then be on your table when you arrive on the night. This pre-ordering process will open two months oprior to the event.
We are hugely grateful for all of the work being done by this year's SVS Ball Committee to ensure that the event is a success. The Summer Ball is traditionally the biggest event that we host each year and, as such, involves a huge amount of work behind the scenes by those listed below.
