I am so excited to be leading the School into its 450th Anniversary year, at what is a fascinating and exciting point in our history. Whilst it is an exciting time to be looking forward and planning for the future, it is also a great opportunity to be looking back and celebrating the wealth of history that the School has to offer since its inception in 1576, when Elizabeth I was on the throne. We are marking this incredible milestone by publishing a fully illustrated hardback book to showcase all that Sutton Valence School has achieved and to celebrate what it is today.

Through our community values, broad curriculum, and extensive enrichment opportunities, we believe that all young people at Sutton Valence School will be inspired and supported to fulfil and exceed their potential. Their lives and School career are further enriched by the wider School community, including our Old Suttonians, former and current staff and parents, both in the Prep and Senior School. Throughout our 450 years, our history has also been intertwined with Sutton Valence village and the surrounding Suttons. This close knit community is what makes Sutton Valence School great and engenders the sense of belonging that is at the heart of our community.
