We are delighted to annouce that the SVS Foundation's archivist, David Pickard (Staff 1977-2001, 2009-2015), will once again be embarking on a series of London walks, each offering a different perspective on the city and its history. The next three walks are as follows:
Saturday 14th September – 'River Thames - The Gateway to the World' Walk (11.00am at Tower Hill)
Sunday 29th September – 'Some Nooks and Crannies in the City' Walk (11.00am at St Clement Danes Church)
Sunday 6th October – 'Posh (Monopoly) London' Walk (11.00am at Charing Cross Station).
DP's other three walks - 'The London of William Lambe', 'Royal London' and 'In The Shadow of the Wall' are available upon request by contacting DP directly - pickardd@svs.org.uk. All six walks will be available again as part of the Spring 2025 programme, alongide a new walk, which he will be unveiling next year.
