We are delighted to report that on Sunday 3rd April, Will Bryant (2018 M) competed in the Ironman 70.3 Triathlon, in Galveston, Texas. This invovled a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile cycle, and a 13.1-mile run, which Will completed in 7 hourse and 30 minutes.
Will was raising funds for his best friend and fellow Old Suttonian, Tom Lazarides (2018 C), who suffered a life-changing C5 spinal compression injury after an accident in the summer of 2020. The money raised will be put towards helping fund Tom's ongoing treatment by providing him with robotic hands (a hugely costly piece of equipment) in order to give him some independence. to lead a more independent life. To quote Will, "this was the hardest thing I have ever done, thank you so much to eveyone who donated". Congratualtions Will on your acheivement, dedication and determination, the School community is very proud of you.
