The recent death of George Floyd in Minnesota and the resultant protests that have swept the world have done much to highlight the issues of institutional and societal racism. One Old Suttonian, Michael Adebiyi (2015 M), has been proactive in promoting the Black Lives Matter cause by helping to create the website We Create Change - https://www.wecreatechange.co.uk/home.

The site is designed as an educational resource, as well as a platform to focus on petitionary campaigning. To create such a far-reaching and detailed site in such quick time is admirable and we would encourage you to view Michael's hard work.
