The study, conducted by Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) where Peter studies, has discovered that the number of cases among men has gone up five-fold and the number of cases in women has risen by 250%, driven by increases in those aged 35 and over.
The study was recently published in The Lancet Regional Health – Europe and was featured on Sky News this week. For more information, please see here.
