Congratulations to Old Suttonian Kathryn Maple (2007 C) who has been awarded the prestigious John Moores Painting Prize for her painting entitled The Common. The John Moores Painting Prize is organised every two years by National Museums Liverpool and is considered the UK’s biggest painting prize. Kathryn joins an illustrious list of former winners, including David Hockney, Mary Martin and Peter Doig.
