This summer, the Changeling Theatre will be performing A Midsummer Night’s Dream at a range of open-air venues around Kent. The touring company, directed by Old Suttonian Robert Forknall (1984 F) and marketed by Felicity Roberts (1996 V), also includes another OS, with Annabelle Blake (2017 C) taking on the role of Hermia in the production.
Those familiar with Sutton Valence School Drama productions will remember Annabelle from her fantastic performances in the 2016 production of Les Misérables (Eponine) and the 2017 production of Hamlet (Queen Gertrude). After leaving SVS, she went on to study Acting (BA) at ArtsEd, and is due to graduate this summer. Last year she returned to the School to help with our biennial Next Steps Careers Talk for the Sixth Form, helping to promote the opportunities available to those wanting to study theatre at university.
We wish Annabelle, Rob and Flic all the best with this summer’s production and for those who would like to get tickets, please do so via the Changeling Theatre webpage - https://changeling-theatre.com/production/the-dream-2021/#production-tickets.
