We were sorry to learn of the death of Old Suttonian John Jackson (1963 L) in November last year. After leaving the School in 1963, John worked as a bank clerk, however he chose to change career after experiencing a number of armed robberies. Following a time working at a nursery, he moved to the Colchester area with his wife Meryl, where he spent over 30 years working for the National Farmers' Union (NFU). He enjoyed a lengthy retirement enjoying a number of hobbies and spending time with his three grandchildren.
