OS Hockey Group

Susannah Townsend (2007 G), Old Suttonian and two-time-Olympian, took a small group of girls for a Hockey masterclass on Saturday afternoon.

The girls enjoyed the session, working on tackle technique and goalscoring. GB assistant coach and former international Katie Glynn, who scored 77 goals in 134 goals for New Zealand (a national record), also helped coach the girls – which was a real honour in itself.

After the session, the girls were able to see (and wear!) both of Susannah’s Olympic medals. Susannah was part of the Rio 2016 Gold medal-winning Hockey squad and the Japan 2020 Hockey squad that won Bronze this summer.
