Last Friday we hosted the OS Hockey Tournament at School. It was a great turn-out, with over 45 OS players and a big crowd supporting. The quality of the play was incredibly high as usual and the accompanying barbecue was delicious. Thanks to Mr Braddick, Mrs Frei (2013 F) and Richard Young (1990 M) for organising, to our team captains Dan Brooks (2007 G) and Mrs Sharpe (2016 F) for their help in managing the OS teams and of course, the School’s 1st and 2nd Hockey teams. Finally, a big thank you to Phil Day (1997 F) for refereeing all three games! A great evening of hockey and catching up and it was lovely to see so many supporters cheering the teams on.
Congratulations to the OS Ladies Team who won 5-1 and the OS Men’s 1st Team who won 5-3. However, the School’s 2nd team were just too strong, and won 5-2. Well played everyone!
