Last Friday saw the return of the SVS Foundation quiz - The Quiz Factor, with over 225 parents, past parents, Governors, staff and Old Suttonians taking part. The atmosphere was electric and competition was intense. The evening was a great success and we raised the impressive total of £2,690.37 for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
Once again, the evening was hosted by the one and only David Gilman (Parent 2014-2021), with rounds ranging from ‘Love your Planet’ to the highly entertaining Observation Round. The highlight though was once again, the Movie Round, with various staff acting out scenes from famous films. Many thanks to all of them for being good sports! Congratulations to the winning team of ‘Have you tried turning it on and off again….again!’, (most comprised of our IT and Exams offices) for their resounding victory.
A fantastic evening was had by all and many thanks to the Gilman family, David Gilman (as quizmaster-extraordinaire), Emma Gilman (as the evening’s scorer) and Charlotte Gilman (2021 S) for her cameo appearance behind the bar, as well as all those who helped make the evening such a great success.
