The sun shone as the SVS Foundation Farming Group welcomed members of the SVS community to join them for drinks at the Weald of Kent Ploughing Match on Saturday 17th September. The SVS stand was in prime position between the steam ploughing display and the main arena, so there was plenty of entertainment.
A steady flow of Old Suttonians, as well as past and current parents, staff, pupils and governors popped in throughout the day to meet up and have a drink. We are grateful to Rollo Parsons (Parent 2019-Present) who co-hosted and catered for our guests on his adjacent Acres Insurance stand.
Farming events continue to be a popular means of the SVS community getting together and we look forward to announcing other such events in the coming year. Our thanks, as ever, go to those involved with the Farming Group for their assistnace in pulling together this event, in particular Charles Tassell (1977 F).
