Our Upper Sixth Leavers, their parents and members of staff celebrated the end of School with the annual Leavers’ Ball on Saturday 1st July. There was a festival theme to the evening and, luckily for us, the rain held off. The party-goers were treated to an amazing feast prepared by The Curious Eatery, fireworks (courtesy of the Bursar, Mr Fowle) and a set by Another Day, before dancing the night away. A fantastic evening was had by all, rounded off by a rousing rendition of Jerusalem, sung by the Leavers.
Thanks go to the organising committee, Mrs Jackie Browning (Chairperson of the Friends of SVS), Mrs Anderson, Mrs Bush, Mrs Forknall, Mrs Kirk, Mrs Murch, Mrs Page and Mrs Woods for such a great event. We wish all our new Old Suttonians the very best as they start the next chapter of their lives and hope they will keep in touch with the School community.
