The School was pleased to get involved in last week’s Weald of Kent Ploughing match, hosted at Moatenden Farm, with a stand showcasing the upcoming 450th Anniversary celebrations. Despite a wet and muddy start, once the day got going and the weather dried up, we were busy greeting a record number of Old Suttonians, Nursery through to Upper Sixth parents and past parents, as well as current and former staff and friends of the School.

The branded giant Jenga, courtesy of our talented Design & Technology Department, proved very popular with our Old Suttonians and the Headmaster and giant Connect Four was a hit with the younger members of the School community. We were busy all day long and it was great to catch up with so many people, who took the time to visit us. Once we packed up, we were very grateful to a helpful tractor driver for towing us out of the quagmire. We now have plenty of time to hose everything down, ready for next year’s ploughing match!
