We were delighted to welcome 27 of our most mature Old Suttonians, together with the Headmaster, governors and OS Committee members to the annual Ian Kay luncheon at the RAF Club in Piccadilly this Tuesday. Originally established for leavers from Westminster in the 1930s, this is one of our most longstanding events, which has over time been extended and now includes all leavers from before 1970, as well as anyone who knew Ian Kay (1941 M).
It was a great opportunity for our most senior Old Suttonians to reconnect with their contemporaries, some of whom have not seen each other for over 60 years. We were treated to a delicious three course meal, followed by a surprise appearance of William Lambe, courtesy of David Pickard (Staff 1977-2001, 2009-2015 and 2025-). Thanks go to Roger Kojecky (1961 L) for grace, John Macnaughtan (1962 L) for the Loyal Toast and David Dodd (1951 M) for the Toast to the School.
