We were delighted to host our annual Christmas Drinks at the Lansdowne Club last Thursday, bringing together a wonderful mix of the Sutton Valence community for an evening of festive conversation and celebration.

Now in its third year, the event continues to be a fantastic opportunity to welcome current and past parents, Old Suttonians and members of staff in a relaxed and informal setting. It was particularly pleasing to see such a broad range of Old Suttonians in attendance, with guests spanning generations — from a group of 1962 leavers through to a recent 2020 leaver.

The evening provided a valuable opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and hear stories from across the School's history. The informal atmosphere made it especially enjoyable to spend time with guests and reflect on the many different connections people have with the School.

With the School's 450th anniversary on the horizon, it was also a timely opportunity to begin looking ahead to this significant milestone. The breadth of generations represented at the event was a wonderful reminder of the strength and longevity of the Sutton Valence community, and of the many people who have played a part in the School's story.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. We look forward to welcoming many more members of the SVS community to future events as we build towards the School's 450th anniversary.
